Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid out four major ambitions for India while addressing the Indian diaspora during his visit to The Hague in the Netherlands.

Addressing members of the Indian community, PM Modi said India’s ambitions are growing rapidly along with its efforts.

“Aspirations are unlimited in India and efforts are also becoming limitless,” he said while highlighting India’s economic and technological progress.

India Wants To Host The Olympics

One of PM Modi’s biggest announcements was India’s ambition to host the Olympic Games in the future.

India has been pushing aggressively to host major international sporting events as part of its global image-building strategy. The statement comes amid discussions around India’s possible bid for future Olympic Games.

PM Modi Pushes ‘Make In India’ Vision

PM Modi said India is rapidly transforming into a global manufacturing hub under the “Make in India” initiative.

He highlighted how Indian youth are driving innovation across sectors including technology, defence, artificial intelligence and space.

According to PM Modi, India is now home to the world’s third-largest start-up ecosystem.

India Betting Big On AI & Semiconductors

Focusing on the AI revolution, PM Modi projected India as an emerging semiconductor manufacturing powerhouse.

He said work on 12 semiconductor plants is currently underway across India, while production has already started in two facilities.

“Now even chips will be ‘Designed in India’ and ‘Made in India’,” PM Modi said.

He also recalled how India hosted one of the world’s biggest AI summits recently.

India’s Mobile Manufacturing Boom

PM Modi also highlighted India’s rapid rise in mobile phone manufacturing.

“A decade ago, we imported mobile phones. Today, India is the world’s second-largest mobile phone manufacturer,” he said.

The Prime Minister described India as an emerging “innovation power” driven by technology and manufacturing growth.

Green Energy Among India’s Biggest Goals

Apart from manufacturing and technology, PM Modi also stressed India’s ambition to become a major green energy hub.
