Finn Allen’s explosive 93 and strong finishing knocks from Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Cameron Green power KKR to massive win at Eden Gardens

Kolkata Knight Riders kept their IPL 2026 playoff hopes alive with a commanding 29-run victory over Gujarat Titans in a high-scoring clash at Eden Gardens on Friday.

Batting first, KKR suffered an early setback after skipper Ajinkya Rahane was dismissed for just 14. However, opener Finn Allen completely changed the momentum with a breathtaking knock of 93 off just 35 balls.

Raghuvanshi And Green Finish Strong

After Allen’s explosive innings, Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Cameron Green took control in the middle and death overs.

Raghuvanshi remained unbeaten on 82 off 44 deliveries, while Green smashed an unbeaten 52 off 28 balls as KKR piled up a massive total of 247 runs.

For Gujarat Titans, Mohammed Siraj and Sai Kishore managed to pick up one wicket each.

Shubman Gill Fights Lone Battle For GT

Chasing a daunting target, Gujarat Titans got off to a shaky start. Sai Sudharsan struggled with injury concerns during the innings and returned later after captain Shubman Gill was dismissed.

Gill kept GT in the contest with a superb 85-run knock off 49 balls, while Jos Buttler added 57 from 35 deliveries.

Sai Sudharsan also remained unbeaten on 52 off 28 balls, but the Titans ultimately fell short as KKR sealed a crucial victory.

KKR Move Up In Points Table

With the win, Kolkata Knight Riders climbed to seventh place in the IPL standings, keeping their playoff hopes alive, while Delhi Capitals slipped to eighth position after the result.
